The Low Brass Studio at Angelo State University is comprised of music majors, minors, and non-majors who play the tuba, euphonium, tenor trombone or bass trombone. Majors in the studio take private lessons each week, participate in trombone choir or tuba-euphonium ensemble, and attend a weekly studio-class. They also play in many numerous ensembles on campus including the Marching Band, Ram Horns Pep Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, and others.

A major in the studio aspires to become a professional musician and educator. They will achieve mastery on their respective instrument, and perform a Senior Recital as a capstone project for their degree.
